Discipleship

All believers in Jesus walk a journey of growth with God. This journey unfolds over time through our relationships with God, our internalizing of His Word (the Bible), God’s truths we discover, and our relationships with others. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus calls us all to make disciples. We take this seriously. At Victory, we believe in developing people the way Jesus developed people. As such, we have a heart for relational discipleship in the way Jesus imparted to His disciples.

Discipleship Classes / Foundational Spiritual Health: Focusing on each believer’s journey with God, we have created a simple process focused on foundational spiritual health. This process is open to all and consists of four classes and an Encounter Day. The classes invite participation, interaction, and experiencing the topics firsthand. The classes address Prayer/Quiet Time, The Word of God, Truths We Believe, and Community. The Encounter Day focuses a full day on encountering God.

G.O.D. Squad: To encourage relational development, we have gathered a group of people who will steward our culture of relationship. This group of mature adults, the G.O.D. Squad (Group of Disciplers), actively promotes and models relationship and spiritual passion at Victory. This group also serves as a relational connection for those going through the discipleship classes.
